This area is the public communication layer. These features make the product feel more transparent, but not every product needs all of them enabled.

What this feature includes

  • /roadmap
  • /status
  • /open
  • /changelog

Who uses it

  • potential users,
  • active customers,
  • partners,
  • clients who want to see product progress or public status.

Main dependencies

What teams usually customize

  • roadmap items,
  • status messages,
  • public metrics,
  • changelog rhythm,
  • the level of brand transparency.

When this feature is disabled or simplified

Usually when:
  • the product is not ready for public transparency,
  • the data on these pages is still placeholder content,
  • the team does not want to maintain regular public updates.

Verification checklist

  1. The roadmap does not expose internal-only items.
  2. The status page does not show placeholders.
  3. Open startup metrics fit the product or are hidden.
  4. Changelog entries are actually relevant to the product.
  5. All pages already use the correct brand tone.
If these pages stay active, make sure they are also aligned with Landing page and marketing pages.
